Inter-Professional and Inter-Cultural Academic Staff Exchange (INCASE )

The INCASE project took place between the academic staff of the nursing and midwifery faculties of a Swiss and an Ethiopian university. It aimed at enhancing the experiences and strengthening the skills and the role of teachers to lastingly impact healthcare provision. Students of both universities were also exposed to the teachers’ activities. Of particular interest were the insights into problem-based didactic methods, body work in midwifery and the intercultural experience itself.
