eLearning and English-medium instruction: challenges facing L2 exchange students

The number of second-language (L2) speakers of English who are taking English-medium courses while on exchange has increased significantly. To better understand how to support their learning, a mixed-method study in Hong Kong investigated the English-language and eLearning challenges facing this population. This needs analysis provided direction for pedagogical interventions that seek to enhance the academic learning and integration of incoming non-local L2 exchange students.
