How a transatlantic network benchmarks intercultural practices in teacher education

This session will present a benchmarking process undertaken by institutions in Belgium, the Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Sweden and the USA in order to evaluate and improve students’ intercultural competences as an outcome of internationalisation. We’ll outline the content, process, activities, surveys and gained insights of the process and discuss the key topics of curricula, specific intercultural competences, internationalisation abroad and at home and professional development.
