Session 08.06

21st-century employability: the graduate skills gap and mismatched expectations

This session will examine the relationship between graduate skills and employer expectations amidst an uncertain political landscape and impending fourth industrial revolution. We’ll explore findings from the QS Global Employer Survey and QS Applicant Survey to understand alignment and misalignment between employer and applicant expectations. We’ll thus provide a global scope of the issue and offer valuable insight into the debate on what role universities should play in graduate employment.
