Session 09.01

Is global awareness of international students truly measurable?

Demonstrating intercultural competence has become essential for success in the 21st-century workplace, so it’s only natural that universities seek to instil such skills, along with civic engagement, in their students. But how can these competencies be measured? This session will analyse in more detail the possible learning outcomes in civic engagement and intercultural competency and how these skills can be assessed and included in degree-programme and institutional outcomes.
