Workshop 02

Best practices in evaluating foreign credentials

Are you relatively new to the field of evaluation and recognition of foreign credentials? This workshop offers an introduction to the most important aspects of this dynamic field, such as the criteria and procedures used as advocated by the Lisbon Recognition Convention; which documents you should require; where you can find accurate, up-to-date information; how to develop a step-by-step evaluation methodology; how to deal with refugee applications; and ways to combat fraud. As a participant, you will benefit from a hands-on approach, the use of cases from daily practice, the chance to share information and experiences with your peers, and the extensive knowledge and expertise of the presenter.
