Refugee qualifications recognition: promising initiatives in Europe and North America

This session will discuss promising approaches designed to facilitate increased access to higher education for refugees: the European Qualifications Passport for Refugees (EQPR), piloted by the Norwegian Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (NOKUT), and a pilot project for Syrian refugees in Canada from World Education Services (WES). It will also add the perspectives of EQPR partner Kiron Open Higher Education. It will conclude with steps forward and recommendations for institutions.
