Workshop 11

Teaching in English: strategies for success

Universities like yours around the world now offer courses – and sometimes even full programmes – in English. But how can you be sure you’re incorporating instruction in English successfully enough to compete with higher education institutions in English-speaking countries? This interactive workshop will help you improve English-language instruction and programmes in your own context with a particular emphasis on strategic choices and support practices for staff, students and administration. Topics to be covered include internationalisation of the curriculum, quality assurance and approaches to positioning English instruction in the overall strategy.
