This intensive and interactive workshop will give you the opportunity to discuss the main obstacles to accessing and remaining in higher education that refugees encounter at the institutional and national levels and how to address these challenges. Informed by this discussion as well as best practices from the field, you’ll be guided in creating a roadmap for implementation focused on concrete, realistic steps for overcoming the various challenges in refugee enrolment and retention. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have an action plan for helping refugees in higher education that you can take back to your institution and a network of peers who support your efforts.
