Session 04.08

Thinking globally and acting locally: making the SDGs ‘glocal’!

Despite broad acceptance of our universal civic responsibility regarding the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), there remains an ‘accountability gap’ among some local actors when it comes to pursuing these goals. This session will discuss the potential for local universities to make a global impact on the SDGs by leveraging their position as economic and social anchors locally and regionally. With global thought and local action, you can help make the SDGs ‘glocal’ at your institution.
