Session 07.14

Reinventing the alliance between universities and labour markets

By means of practical case studies, this session will examine the increasingly prevalent role higher education institutions (HEIs) play in connecting students and graduates to the job market. Given the pressure to increase employability and fill labour gaps, how far should HEIs really go? How can they increase employability, according to market needs and the regulations in place, while maintaining their core mission of knowledge diffusion and academic standards?
