Session 02.15

Ethical challenges for institutions in international collaboration

There are many grey areas in international collaboration. For example, can a university decline an invitation from their government to collaborate with an institution in another country that does not subscribe to the same core values? Can a university send students to study or do research in a country that does not respect international conventions, and, if so, what support do these students need? This session will explore ethical considerations in international collaboration for universities.
