About this session

When student teachers had to return from their international placements due to the pandemic, two Dutch teacher training colleges collaborated in setting up an alternative programme to further students’ intercultural competences at home. This poster presents the Culturally Responsive Teaching programme, which trains student teachers on how to respond to different cultures – capitalising on, rather than ignoring, cultural differences and similarities.
