About this session

The number of English-medium education degree programmes in Japan is growing. This poster analyses the promises these programmes make to students: What do the universities’ public-facing documents say about what students will study, how they will develop as people and what opportunities will be open to them after graduation? Dafouz and Smit’s ROADMAPPING framework informs our study and the results highlight the benefits of studying in Japanese institutions.
