Branding is becoming an increasingly important element of higher education institutions’ internationalisation strategies. This session will introduce a seven-step brand development process that is particularly suitable for institutions located outside renowned hubs and metropolitan areas. Differentiation methods for each step of the process will be illustrated using cases from different international institutions that have built strong brands despite their remote locations.
