About this session

Plant breeding is critical in Africa for food security and nutrition, but there is a shortage of trained plant breeders. Since 2013, World Agroforestry, an international agricultural research institute with its headquarters in Kenya, has organised the annual African Plant Breeding Academy together with the University of California at Davis. This poster describes the structure and nature of this international partnership and presents the results so far.
