About this session

Nursing students need to develop intercultural competence and this must be facilitated by educational institutions. Virtual exchange, particularly Collaborative Online International Learning, can help students to gain skills that are crucial for a global workforce. This poster looks at cooperation between the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences and the Université Adventiste Zurcher in Madagascar, focusing on a COIL pilot where nursing students connected using Facebook.
