Closing Plenary keynote speaker: Jordan Nguyen

Jordan Nguyen is one of Australia’s most innovative engineers, and a driving force behind both human and technological evolution as we move into the future. A passionate ambassador for STEAM education, adaptable mindsets and big-picture thinking, Jordan is committed to improving the lives of as many people as possible. Drawing on his experience of almost breaking his own neck, he developed a mind-controlled smart wheelchair for people with high-level physical disability. Now as founder of Psykinetic, he designs life-changing technologies focusing on intelligent, futuristic and inclusive technology. Upon completing his PhD in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Technology Sydney, he was accepted into the prestigious UTS Chancellor’s List.

Jordan believes that our young generations are the change-makers of tomorrow and have the potential to create solutions to the world’s greatest challenges. He’ll spark us to further empower this next generation of digital natives and create a more inclusive society using technology.
