The virtual platform

As the name suggests, the Community Exchange was about making meaningful connections and exchanging knowledge. No matter where you joined from, the full programme could be enjoyed at your convenience at all hours of the day. Registered particpants can watch back all sessions until 25 October.

What can I still access within the event platform?

  • On-demand sessions including all plenaries and previously live discussions
  • Downloadable PowerPoint presentations from sessions (coming soon in the next week)
  • Participant search and messaging tools
  • Exhibition and messaging options to contact the exhibitors
  • Poster gallery and messaging options to contact poster presenters

You can continue to schedule and host video meetings until 03 October, after this date video meetings will no longer be available.

The platform will remain open until 25 October, enabling you to log in at any time to re-watch recordings and access resources, as well as retrieve any chats, messages and contact information you collected during the event.

What participants were able to do

Join break-out discussions & campfires

Switch on your camera and microphone to join small break-out discussions and virtual campfires. These video sessions are a great way to share insights and get to know colleagues in the sector.

Explore the poster gallery

Open 24 hours a day, you can enjoy a virtual stroll through the poster gallery at any time that suits you. Want to learn more about a poster, you can send the presenter a message or join a Q&A with the presenter.

Connect with your community

Catch up with old conference friends or meet new colleagues via the online participant directory. You will be able to search for other participants and exhibitors, use the chat function, and schedule video/voice meetings within the platform.

Reach out to new partners

Arrange personal meetings for any time of day during the event. You can start scheduling your meetings as soon as you have access to the platform and can invite up to three other people to a video meeting.

More than 50 exhibiting organisations showcased their services at the event

Meet the exhibitors

The EAIE Community Exchange exhibition is the ideal place to form new partnerships or build on existing contacts. Exhibitors could reach international higher education professionals in a direct and targeted way, and pre-schedule meetings and presentations for any time zone.

Depending on the package, exhibitors could also offer presentations, demos or country updates with their own branded group video meeting room. The Exhibition also featured pavillions, where national agencies could bring their higher education institutions together under one virtual roof. If you are looking to offer presentations, demos or country updates, we offer packages that will facilitate this with your own branded group video meeting room. If you represent a national agency, there are options to bring your higher education institutions together under one virtual roof.

Your personalised virtual stand

Customise your own organisation page with your logo, organisation description, contact details, promotional video and a downloadable PDF. Your page profile will also include a messaging tool so prospective partners can contact you to arrange a meeting. Depending on your package, you can also schedule group meetings, demos and more.

Your dedicated virtual pavilion

Customise your own national pavilion or agency by listing up to 25 sub-exhibitors. As a pavilion, you'll have your own dedicated group meeting room that you can use for presentations for up to 100 participants, 16 of which can use video. Prospective partners can contact you or one of your sub-exhibitors to arrange a meeting using the messaging tools.
