Dan heads up the education team at SMRS. In this intensely competitive global higher education marketplace, SMRS help universities tackle their communication and branding challenges by delivering strategic marketing campaigns and strategic consultancy projects. Central to SMRS’s approach is a dedication to developing ways to better understand and engage with target audiences whether through brand insight and campaigns or through data analysis and technology. Dan provides insight and sector expertise to SMRS’s 34 university clients as well as the wider sector and has been working in higher education for 20 years. Dan holds a BA Hons in Politics and Sociology from Exeter University.

He has presented at five EAIE Annual Conferences as part of the Marketing & Recruitment stream. His sessions have focused on brand, marketing and student recruitment in higher education.
