Unni Kvernhusvik Sagberg

My name is Unni Sagberg. I have been working with international relations in higher education since 2005, first at the University of Bergen and then, since 2014, at the Norwegian Agency for International Cooperation and Quality Enhancement in Higher Education. These roles have provided me with a broad perspective on international cooperation in education and research.

I am standing for election for the General Council after three terms in the European Programme Management Expert Community, first as Vice-Chair and for the last term as Chair. In this group, my main tasks were to ensure a good working environment, follow up assigned tasks for our group and support the EAIE’s vision, mission and values. I have also been a trainer at the EAIE Academy for several years.

As a member of the General Council, I believe my broad experience in the EAIE and my current position would provide me with up-to-date knowledge about higher education. I am a proactive and positive person, and I would consider it especially important to support the Expert Communities and ensure that the Board, the Expert Communities and the different committees are all working towards the same goals.
