Unni Kvernhusvik Sagberg

My name is Unni Kvernhusvik Sagberg. I have been working with international relations since 2005, first at University of Bergen and then at Norwegian Centre for International Cooperation in Education (SIU). Having worked both in a HEI and now at a national agency provides me with a broad perspective to international relations both in the field of education and research.

I am standing for election as Chair for the EAIE Expert Community European Programme Management after two terms as Vice-Chair. In the group I have especially worked with training activities and to motivate new people to get involved in the EAIE activities. Having been a trainer at the EAIE Academy and a presenter at several conferences, I believe I can provide good support. As Chair, I will continue the close cooperation between the EU and the EAIE Expert Community and to inspire more EAIE members to actively contribute in different EAIE activities. For the current period, it will be important to follow up the shaping of the new Erasmus+ programme and the new initiative European Universities.

It would be an honour to be able to use my knowledge and skills to serve the EAIE in this capacity, and I believe I have the competence and capacity to contribute to the development and relevance of the steering group.
