My name is Nadia D’Alton, Health Sciences Programme Office Director at University College Dublin. I am seeking election to the EAIE’s Expert Community Access and Diversity as a Steering group member.

My experience in health sciences education, with strong student experience focus, will allow me to participate in the Access and Diversity agenda within the Association. I will focus equally on all areas within health sciences discipline, develop a health education network to benefit all members, and facilitate the sharing of best practices.

My professional background as Health Sciences Programme Office Director in University College Dublin during the past eight years has provided me with expertise in supporting education and programmes in; medicine, radiography, physiotherapy, public health, biomedical health, and life sciences.

My educational background, Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, will allow me to lead, encourage and develop the strategic objectives of the Expert Community in a manner that will support constructive and positive contributions from members.

I was recently appointed member of the U21 United Nations Millennium Development Goals (UNMDG) strategic group, whose purpose is to develop an educational strategy for MDG training and education for health professional trainees.

My experience, education, dedication and enthusiasm, together with my commitment to the constant need to improve student experience in higher education, match the requirements of the position.
