Michelle Greene

My name is Michelle Greene and I run the Centre for International Relations, Culture and Language Education at Fontys International Business School in the Netherlands.

I highly appreciate being a member of the EAIE community because of the way in which we can learn from each other and shape further development of international education together. It is important to me that students get access and exposure to a wide range of global topics during their studies – supporting strong professional and personal development. One aspect here is the inclusion of all regions in our education and research programmes – bridging Global North and Global South differences for the benefit of truly global education.

Over the years, I have worked in international business, development work and education, both as a lecturer and in my current role. Based on this experience, I feel well equipped to work in the Cooperation for Development Expert Community, to continue to develop it and to contribute to the EAIE community, especially in light of new post-pandemic dynamics. I have greatly enjoyed the past two years as an associate in this Expert Community and would be very grateful for your vote and the opportunity to continue the good work.
