Marije Bedaux

Leiden University, the Netherlands
Marije Bedaux

My name is Marije Bedaux and I have been working as a careers adviser at Leiden University for the last five years. Before joining Leiden, I worked for more than 10 years in HR and recruitment and as a lawyer. In my role as a careers adviser I try to enhance the employability of both Dutch and international students by advising, coaching and connecting them with stakeholders in the labour market. I believe that my extensive knowledge in this field would allow me to guide the EAIE Expert Community Employability as the Chair. My international experience and passion for languages, as well as my ability to connect people, would be an asset in creating a community for members and networking partners. I am an expert at getting things done and I can offer creative support to EAIE members working in the field of employability and the changing labour market. It would be an honour to be able to use my knowledge and skills to serve the EAIE in this capacity.
