Marianne Mensah

My name is Marianne Mensah and I work as International Executive Director at Université Cote d’Azur in France. I focus on developing international partnerships which foster excellence, innovation and transdisciplinarity. I am passionate about fostering dialogue and projects on major challenges such as sustainable development and climate change. I am convinced that research and education have a key role to play in addressing these challenges, and that cooperation is the right mode to foster innovative solutions. I would like to join, as a member, the EAIE’s Expert Community Cooperation for Development Steering group to foster a dynamic think tank on sustainable development and to contribute to the visibility of EAIE international educators community in international development institutions.

Prior to joining UCA, I worked for international development agencies such as United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the French Development Agency. At AFD, I served the group as a Regional Coordinator where I worked on environment, energy, water, health and education projects in Africa. I also worked for the AFD Corporate University, where I developed learning projects on energy efficiency and climate change. I contributed to publications on innovations for sustainable development and on Innovative Finance. I hold a Master in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School and a Master in Economics from Sciences-Po Paris.
