Lucienne Mochel

NEOMA Business School, the Netherlands
Lucienne Mochel

Dear fellow EAIE members, it is my pleasure to present some highlights of my professional career in support of my candidacy for the position of Steering group member of the EAIE Expert Community Business Education. My name is Lucienne Mochel. I am a Dutch/American citizen and have lived in both countries for a total of 20+ years. In the USA, I worked for 10+ years at AACSB International as Vice-President of Accreditation. Relevant for my candidacy is that during those years I intensively interacted with over 900 business schools worldwide and developed an extremely rich and in-depth knowledge of business school education globally and its opportunities and challenges. I also have become very familiar with the governance issues of a member service driven organisation, which may be very helpful for a leadership position within the EAIE. Since July 2015 I work for NEOMA business school, France as Director of International Development and am responsible for moving the school from doing international activities to offering education in a truly global environment. I believe both roles allow me to bring knowledge and experience to the EC and to contribute proactively and constructively to the realisation of the overall mission and vision of the EAIE.
