Kathrin Theurillat

National Erasmus+ Office, Israel
Kathrin Theurillat

I am Kathrin Theurillat and I head the National Erasmus+ Office Israel. Over the last six years, I've been involved in different projects and policy processes in the higher education sector in Israel, including the design of the national internationalisation policy. In my current role, leading the overall management of the Erasmus+ programme in Israel, I am also responsible for monitoring and evaluating capacity building, International Credit Mobility projects and the impact of Erasmus+ in the Israeli context. This has allowed me not only to understand the programme's implementation trends and challenges but also to gain valuable insights regarding the factors and key elements for successful intercultural collaboration. Thanks to my international perspective on European programmes and the impact they can have on countries around the globe, I believe I can contribute to the EAIE community and it would be an honour to be part of the European Collaborative Programmes Expert Community, working towards the meaningful implementation of such global educational initiatives in the future. I bring strong analytical and creative thinking skills, as well as the motivation to create structures of knowledge sharing and community building.
