Jeroen Ouburg

Wageningen University, the Netherlands
Jeroen Ouburg

My name is Jeroen Ouburg and I am senior advisor international to the executive board of Wageningen University & Research where I advise the organisation on strategic issues in the field of education and funding. In addition to this, I’m active in a number of (inter)national collaborations, in roles such as Institutional Coordinator for the Orange Knowledge Programme (capacity building programme from the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs), Advisor for Institutional collaboration under the Erasmus+ programme, member of the Internationalisation Platform of the Association of Universities of the Netherlands (UNL/VSNU) and representative in university wide networks like the European BioEconomy University (EBU) and the Euroleague for Life Sciences (ELLS)

Over the past years I’ve had the honour to contribute to the joint leadership of the EAIE in various roles including Vice Chair of the Expert Community Admission & Recognition, after which contributed to the EAIE Refugee Taskforce which worked on integration of refugees into higher education. Over the past two years I’ve contributed to the Strategy & Management Expert Community. I hope you will allow me a second term with real life interaction and more opportunities to discuss the strategic topics in our domain. Looking forward to meeting you in Barcelona.
