Jeroen Ouburg

Wageningen University, the Netherlands
Jeroen Ouburg

My name is Jeroen Ouburg and I’m a Senior Advisor International to the Executive Board of Wageningen University & Research, advising the organisation on strategic networks in the field of education. I was previously Team Leader of the International Office within the Student Service division, and I’m also active in (inter)national collaborations: I am Institutional Coordinator for the Orange Knowledge Programme, a capacity building programme from the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and Adviser for institutional networks including the Euroleague for Life Sciences, the European Bioeconomy University and different expert panels relating to capacity building.

I am a member of the Internationalisation Platform of the Association of Universities in the Netherlands, and in recent years I’ve had the honour of contributing to the joint leadership of the EAIE, first in the capacity of Vice-Chair of the Expert Community Admission and Recognition and then on the Task Force for the integration of refugees into higher education. I would like to bring these insights to use in Strategy and Management and hope to be able to continue strengthening relationships between the different Expert Communities.
