With more than 20 years’ experience in the field of international education management and student support, I have an extensive knowledge and understanding of current issues in global higher education. International mobility, partnerships’ development and international students’ support have been key activities. More recently, I took on the integration of employability in postgraduate programmes. As Internationalisation and Student Development Lead for Aston Business School’s Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programmes, my role is to bring together, through “learning by doing”, academic content and skills development. This has allowed me to gain additional competencies in curriculum development and a greater understanding of the importance of a multidisciplinary approach. For the last two years, I have been volunteering for the EAIE as a Steering group member for the Expert Community Business Education and I would treasure the opportunity to continue serving. In our fast evolving international landscape, I am utterly committed to keeping the output of business education relevant to society at large, with particular emphasis on ethics, social responsibility and sustainability. I believe that through the sharing of knowledge and good practice we can make a difference to local and global communities.
