SIHO - Support Center Inclusive Higher Education, Belgium
Dominique Montagnese

My name is Dominique Montagnese and I am an Inclusive Mobility Expert for the Support Centre for Inclusive Higher Education in Belgium. I have been involved with the EAIE since 2013 and in the field of mobility and inclusion for more than 10 years through networks such as the Erasmus Student Network, the European University Foundation and the Network of Universities from the Capitals of Europe. I chair the Inclusive Mobility Alliance, a network of 20+ European organisations aiming to make mobility programmes more inclusive. I believe that my extensive knowledge of higher education, disability and social inclusion, and my skills in facilitating focus groups and training for university staff and moderating conferences on the topic of inclusion, will be an asset for the EAIE Expert Community Inclusion and Diversity. The work of the community has been growing every year and with the recent inclusion of the LGBTQAI+ and refugees Task Forces, my role as Steering group member will be to ensure a balance in the diversity of its work and visibility for the community. My objectives are to deliver high-quality sessions for the attendees of EAIE events who are willing to learn how to make their work more inclusive.
