Celine Ursula Nygaard

University of Stavanger, Norway
Celine Ursula Nygaard

My name is Celine Ursula Nygaard and I have been working as an International Adviser at the University of Stavanger since 2009. I am in charge of implementing internationalisation across all study programmes at the Faculty of Social Science and the Business School.

I have extensive knowledge and experience in European collaborative programmes such as Erasmus+, Nordplus and EEA Grants, with a special focus on joint programmes and project acquisition. I have been in the Expert Community European Programme Management since 2016 and I was Norway’s representative in the biggest Nordplus network, Nordlys, from 2014 to 2018. I'm currently involved with Stavanger’s participation in the European Consortium of Innovative Universities.

I believe these roles and experiences make me a great candidate for membership of the European Collaborative Programmes Steering group. I have many ideas on how this Expert Community can support EAIE members when the new Erasmus+ programme is launched. I would put a special focus on the key stakeholders in international higher education to promote our members’ interests and to be the voice of the professionals. It would be an honour to be able to use my knowledge and skills to serve the EAIE in this capacity.
