Celine Ursula Nygaard

University of Stavanger, Norway
Celine Ursula Nygaard

My name is Celine Ursula Nygaard and I have been an International Adviser at the University of Stavanger in Norway since 2009. I’m in charge of implementing internationalisation across all study programmes in the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Business School. My university is also heavily invested in the ECIU European university network.

I have extensive knowledge and experience in European collaborative programmes such as Erasmus+, Nordplus and EEA Grants, with a special focus on joint programmes and project acquisition. I have been in the European Programme Management Expert Community since 2016 and I was Norway’s representative in Nordlys, the biggest Nordplus network, from 2014 to 2018.

I believe these roles and experiences make me a great candidate as a steering group member in the European Collaborative Programmes Expert Community. I have many ideas on how this community can better support EAIE members in the new Erasmus+ programme and I would especially focus on key stakeholders in international higher education to promote our members’ interests and to be the voice of the professionals. It would be an honour to use my knowledge and skills to serve the EAIE in this capacity.
