Agnes Sarolta Fazekas

My name is Agnes Sarolta Fazekas. I have been finishing my PhD in the field of inclusion of students with disabilities in higher education. I have been working as an adviser on inclusion in the Erasmus+ Higher Education Working Group of National Agencies on the mobility of students, staff with disabilities since 2015 and I have been a member of the Advisory Council on Youth of the Council of Europe. Personally and professionally I am committed to further developing more inclusive approaches to policies, practices which can support EAIE members working with a diverse student base. I have gained a great knowledge of European social, disability, education and youth policy and skills through my international professional experiences. I have been working as a trainer with the Council of Europe: ‘Understanding encountering multiple discrimination faced by young people with disabilities in Europe’ and I was the course director of ‘Inclusion Culture-Promoting Leadership in Intercultural Understanding within Mixed-ability Groups’ session. I believe that my extensive knowledge and skills in this field allow me to support the Access & Diversity Community as a Chair. It would be my honour to serve the EAIE in this capacity.
