Joachim has worked within marketing and communications for over 20 years and is currently a project manager responsible for the strategic development of international marketing and recruitment at Uppsala University, Sweden. Before joining the university, he worked for several years with B2B marketing for clients in the life science industry. He has hands-on experience in a wide variety of areas such as marketing strategy, brand development, product launches, social media and the production of sales tools and websites. He is now focused on the development of practical marketing and communication models suitable for the academic environment, which differs in many ways from the business world. Joachim is Chair of the EAIE Expert Community Marketing and Recruitment and a frequent presenter at the Annual Conference, where he shares his knowledge on diverse topics such as branding, webinars and social media.
