New Spotlight Seminar on international marketing strategy

New Spotlight Seminar on international marketing strategy

Increased competition for international students means that now more than ever, marketing and recruitment professionals need to be at the top of their game. If you know who you’re going to recruit, why you want them and what they value, then you’re halfway there. To rise to the top you also need to be able to link this to your internationalisation and recruitment strategies and get internal stakeholders on board. The EAIE is pleased to present a new Spotlight Seminar, ‘International marketing strategy: find your market niche and climb to the top’, a two-day event that you won’t want to miss.

Join us from 27–28 March in Amsterdam for this interactive Spotlight Seminar exploring the ins and outs of successful international recruitment and how this is done across institutions throughout Europe.

Take your marketing strategy to the next level

Marketing and recruitment professionals need to be able to clearly identify their market niche, develop a marketing strategy for it and be able to measure the results. Furthermore, they need to be able to convince their colleagues and management that marketing is a necessary strategic function and demonstrate how marketing strategy can be linked to internationalisation strategy. This Spotlight Seminar will give you the tools and techniques for accomplishing just that.

Aimed at marketing and recruitment professionals who work to recruit international students, the programme offers something for everyone regardless of previous experience. You’ll leave with a better understanding of how strategic marketing decisions lead to changes in recruitment activities. Plus, it’s the perfect opportunity to learn about best practices in Europe and to network with colleagues who are facing similar challenges in their jobs.

Join the discussion

The full programme is designed to maximise opportunities for information sharing, collaboration and discussion on all aspects of international marketing strategy. The programme is composed of a series of parallel round table sessions where specific themes and topics will be discussed among groups of participants and moderated by seasoned practitioners. Worried that you’ll miss something? Onsite reporters will follow along in both tracks and provide summaries of each session and reflect on the main takeaways from the day in both the Afternoon and the Closing Plenary.

At the Spotlight Seminar, we’ll also be releasing the results of the survey, ‘Profiling the professionals: who’s doing what in international marketing recruitment’. This survey was conducted by the EAIE Expert Community Marketing and Recruitment in an effort to better understand the current profiles of professionals involved in international marketing and recruitment activities at European higher education institutions. Participants of this Spotlight Seminar will be the first to receive an e-publication highlighting the survey results.
