What’s new at the EAIE?

Frequent visitors to the EAIE website will have noticed some dramatic changes this week – the EAIE website has undergone a spectacular facelift! In fact, more than making simple aesthetic improvements, we’ve developed an entirely new site to reflect our expanding global presence in the international higher education arena. Packed with a host of interactive features, the new site is designed to make your EAIE experience both enjoyable and productive. So, what’s new?

An inspirational education blog

One of the key strengths of the EAIE is our vast network of highly experienced professionals; people, like yourself, who are passionate about internationalisation. The new EAIE blog provides you with an ideal outlet for sharing your knowledge and expertise with a global online community. Whether you’re a seasoned author, or someone who’s never published anything before, the blog is your way of sharing ideas and opinions on any aspect of international higher education, without the formalities of print. Perhaps you’d like to report on the latest policy developments, provide handy tips for common challenges in the field, or, simply sit back and read what other people have to say! However you wish to use the blog, we’re sure that it’s going to redefine the way you interact with international educators around the globe.

View and plan your training with ease

The ever-changing landscape of international education provides countless opportunities to increase your expertise and remain at the forefront of developments. We’ve arranged all of our training programmes in a clear and concise way, enabling you to choose the best option to suit your professional development needs. Find detailed information on each course and on the experts who will be training you. Start planning your 2012 training programme here!

Stay informed of top international higher education events

With our interactive calendar, you can view all of the major internationalisation events happening throughout the year at a glance. We hope that you’ve already saved the date for the 24th Annual EAIE Conference in Dublin this September, but do check out all of the other major events taking place this year from international organisations based around the world.

An exclusive member centre

We’re passionate about equipping members with the tools they need for internationalisation and we’ve created a member centre to do just that. Once logged in as a member, you can download all of the very latest publications from the EAIE, view important organisational news, and view our legal statues and bylaws governing the Association. And this is just the start! Over the coming weeks, we’ll be implementing even greater functionality, exclusively for our members.

Share with fellow professionals

We’ve integrated social media sharing buttons to allow you to share pages from the EAIE site with other professionals in your social network. Read something interesting on our site? Share it with people in your social network at the click of a button!

What do you think?

Our website has been designed with you in mind, and we welcome your comments on the new changes. Over the coming months the website will continue to adopt greater functionality and new features. This blog itself is intended to develop and grow into a rich source of information and opinions, and we encourage contributions from all professionals in the field. Submit your blog post ideas and be part of a truly interactive online community!
