A new EAIE website for the new year

A new EAIE website for the new year

The start of every new year comes with a wave of motivation to start things anew, but also to perfect what was already going well in our lives. In this regard, the EAIE is no different. Today, the Association is officially launching a set of exciting innovations developed to serve our internationalisation of higher education community even better in the year 2016.

The EAIE’s new website has a fresh and clean design, focusing more on visuals that show what our community is really about. Equally important is that our website is now fully mobile-responsive. This means that whether you access our website from your phone, tablet or computer, all of its functionalities remain available and its design fully uncompromised. As mobile change agents, our community is often on the go. We are officially embracing the technology that is already a part of your daily professional life.

More than just good looks

The changes incorporated into our new website stretch above and beyond cosmetic tweaks. In the brand new Resources corner, you will find an extensive library containing the EAIE’s long history of publications. EAIE members have access to this content as part of their membership package, while non-members can read descriptions and download sample articles for free.

The new Community section on our website honours the individual efforts that make our work possible and invites you to get involved. In it, you will find our Expert Communities, the research and advocacy projects that advance our field, the EAIE Awards that recognise exceptional professionals in our community, our much valued partner organisations and relevant worldwide events all year round.

Expert Communities

The EAIE is organised in 15 Expert Communities (ECs) where professionals can connect with others who share their expertise. We’ve given our Expert Communities new names which better correspond with the areas you work in and reflect our broad, diverse community: Access and Diversity, Admission and Recognition, Business Education, Cooperation for Development, Employability, European Programme Management, Guidance and Counselling, Health and Welfare Education, Internationalisation at Home, Language and Culture, Marketing and Recruitment, Mobility Advising, Strategy and Management and Summer Schools. Become involved in these specialised groups today!

More good news for you

In the EAIE Barometer study released last year, practitioners pointed to strategic partnerships as the fastest growing internationalisation activity taking place at their institutions. Today we are giving away a brand new resource that uses EAIE Barometer data to offer insights into the state of these types of international collaboration in Europe – download it now!

As you can see, the new year is getting off to a great start at the EAIE. We invite you to browse our new website and join us in a productive, exciting and collaborative 2016.
