A qualified teacher and trainer Duncan Hamshere is currently employed by the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics and the Universitat Pompeu Fabra as the Manager of the Graduate Program in Economics, Finance and Management. He is responsible for the running of the programs as well as admissions and program development. Previously as Head of Services for the UK NARIC he ran a team of credential evaluators and editorial staff who provided support to around 600 universities worldwide. He was also responsible for the development and provision of NARIC training sessions and has trained staff around the world. In conjunction with the UK NARIC Duncan produced the Book ‘Degrees of Deception’ and has worked in conjunction with the BBC to help highlight the problems of degree mills and accreditation to a wider audience. Duncan hopes to use his practical experience to provide expert guidance and support to the ACE board.
