Ing. Serge Schroef is since the 1st of September 2008 head of the International Office of KATHO. Previously he was Departmental International Coordinator for Industrial Sciences, Technology and Informatics. Since ten years, he is involved in the activities of the EAIE, especially in the EMPLOI professional section.

KATHO has more than 250 international exchange partners worldwide. Every year we have about 200 foreign students who come to study at KATHO, a number only equalled by the number of outgoing students. KATHO is also a valued member of several Erasmus thematic networks. Every year KATHO organises international study days, international staff weeks, seminars, study trips abroad etc.

Election to the EMPLOI Board allowed him to enhance his competencies in international higher education and strengthen his international relations and networking.
