Albertine Zanting’s educational background is in International Relations, Russian, and Intercultural Communication. She has been involved in the internationalization of higher education since 1999, and has experience in the setting up and implementation of projects within different EU educational programmes, for example TEMPUS, SOCRATES, ERASMUS, LEONARDO. Currently, she works as policy advisor at the Educational Institute of the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences, Maastricht University. She advises the faculty board on its internationalization strategy, such as the development of joint programmes, ERASMUS MUNDUS, LLP, and dealing with a culturally diverse student population. Albertine has enjoyed being an EEPC/MOPILE board member since 2002. If elected, she hopes to use her experience in internationalization and within the EAIE to serve the interests of the EAIE members regarding all aspects of European education programmes, and to contribute to the further development of the EAIE.
