This action plan for the SAINTs concentrates on making the SAINTs visible to, and accessible for, the membership of the EAIE. This will be done by:

  • advertising our web pages to the membership, and
  • by being visible at the Antwerp Conference. We hope and expect that these two actions will lead to a better use of our expertise (which is our raison-d’etre in EAIE). These actions will be evaluated before the EAIE conference in Madrid, 2009, and a report will be prepared.

At the conference in Antwerp, 2008, the SAINTs will:
  • present a round-table session entitled The IRM as Diplomat and Politician: Learning the Art of Defining the Possible;
  • present themselves at the PS/SIG meet and greet session to make SAINTs services known to the bodies of the EAIE;
  • be present at, and take part in as required, the Newcomers reception, presenting the SAINTs as being of particular interest to newcomers;
  • be available regularly throughout the conference for discussions and consultations at suitable times and venues;
  • conduct the annual meeting of the SAINTs, including a period open to all comers;
  • produce a report on the annual meeting and decisions made during the conference, which will be posted on the SAINTs web site.

From September 2008 through September 2009 the SAINTs will:
  • continue to seek new members;
  • evaluate, review and consolidate its services to the EAIE membership;
  • prepare for participation in the conference in Madrid, 2009;
  • explore the possibility of developing the SAINTs as a mutually supportive “community of interest”;
  • develop at least one training program for the year 2010.
