AACRAO's 100th Annual Meeting

Education on the Verge: The Precipice of Change
Today’s colleges and universities are facing opportunities and challenges that did not exist just a decade ago. From the growing presence of social media and its many uses in recruitment and retention, to the need to quickly adapt to rapidly evolving technology and innovation on our campuses, coupled with the expanding global scale of higher education, higher education administrators are operating in a highly dynamic environment. We are constantly facing the possibility of change – in the way we operate, how our institutions function, and how we deal with our various constituencies. Join AACRAO's 100th Annual Meeting for a program to help you improve your knowledge and skill base, as well as give you the opportunity to network with colleagues and work towards new goals.

EUA Annual Conference 2014

EUA Annual Conference 2014

Changing Landscapes in Learning and Teaching
Which trends are transforming learning and teaching, and how should European universities respond? EUA’s 2014 Annual Conference will explore innovative teaching approaches that are being developed, discussed or introduced, and consider their implications for the organisation of learning and teaching processes in the years to come. High-level international and European speakers will reflect on the opportunities and challenges entailed by the transformation of learning and teaching in other world regions, and on the impact of mobility and internationalisation on learning and teaching processes at European institutions. The conference will thus provide a forum for discussing how universities in Europe and beyond respond to current pressures for change and try to anticipate tomorrow’s educational needs.

Going Global 2014

Going Global 2014

Inclusion, innovation and impact
Going Global 2014 will explore how innovation systems are formed, structured and driven globally and transnationally. Delegates will consider how talent to drive innovation is developed and how countries meet the challenge of providing sufficient high quality tertiary education to ensure the widespread inclusion and participation of their citizens. The conference will focus on what impact an internationalised higher and tertiary sector can deliver in these twin areas of innovation and inclusion. It will investigate how impact is delivered - and explore the outcomes for policy makers, funders, tertiary education stakeholders and the institutions themselves.
