The purpose of the conference is to discuss in more detail the organisation, administration and supervision of offshore activities from the perspective of human resources and capital development. There is a substantial lack of literature in this area, and more scholarly collaboration, discussion and study is required. The organisers are therefore looking for papers to address current hot topics, strategies, best practices, trends and anxieties. They would like to reach beyond the borders of Italy and the U.S. to include as many countries as possible. Please send abstracts of no more than 500 words, accompanied by a short bio (70 words max), to Michelle Tarnopolsky at mtarnopo@syr.edu by no later than March 1st, 2013.

The ACA Conference is relevant to anyone working in a healthcare environment. One of the conference highlights is the Advocacy Training Team from 7 Solicitors LLP which will be using role play to demonstrate a courtroom scenario in which a practitioner is faced with allegations of incorrectly following procedures. This session will aim to give an insight into how best to deal with what is an increasingly common situation.
