Institutional Award for Innovation in Internationalisation

This award recognises and rewards higher education institutions which are actively engaged in the practice of internationalisation. Institutions with a demonstrable track record in strategic innovation in the internationalisation of higher education will be considered.

Eligibility criteria

• The institution is an accredited, degree-granting university, university consortium, or other higher education institution in Europe.
• It has designed academic and/or support programmes which enhance the international visibility of the institution, thus attracting international students, faculty and staff.
• It has established international partnerships and alliances to promote European higher education, share best practice, and positively impact institutional development.
• It has integrated internationalisation in strategic planning, infrastructure development, research, curriculum, staff development, teaching, student experience and learning outcomes as well as alumni relations.
• It has created programmes that encourage the international or cross-cultural orientation of students, support international students and stimulate integration and interaction between domestic and international students.
• At least one member of the nominated institution is an EAIE member.

The winning institution will receive

• Two fee waivers to the EAIE Annual Conference.
• The chance to share its success story with more than 4000 professionals at a special session of the EAIE Annual Conference.
• Extensive visibility via EAIE Forum magazine and all EAIE online channels.
