The EAIE realises that attending a new conference of this size can be overwhelming. But you are not alone! Annually, over one-third of participants are newcomers and the EAIE is committed to providing all newcomers with as many tools and information as possible to help them find their way.

EAIE Newcomers’ Welcome ReceptionIs this your first EAIE conference? Would you like the chance to meet fellow first-timers in an informal atmosphere? Be sure to attend this special welcome reception for newcomers, which is free for all registered newcomers.
EAIE Newcomers’ Networking Dinner
This informal dinner is the perfect way to start your conference! Continue your networking and share an evening with other first-timers while enjoying food inspired by the trend new Nordic cuisine.
Opening Sessions
EAIE membership is divided into Professional Sections (PS) and Special Interest Groups (SIG) to facilitate networking amongst members who specialise in particular fields of international education. The PS/SIG Opening Sessions are a great opportunity to meet with a smaller group of colleagues who share common professional interests. All PS Opening Sessions will take place on Wednesday 15 September from 14.00–16.00 and include an Open Meeting to inform you about all the activities from the past year and upcoming activities. SIG Opening Sessions are held throughput the programme and some include an Open Meeting as well. Learn how to get involved and be sure to join these important events!
EAIE Exhibition
The EAIE Exhibition has over 2400m² of stands designed to introduce you to new programmes, publications and products. This is an excellent opportunity to meet colleagues from around the world, exchange ideas and build connections. Be sure to visit the EAIE stand (052) to learn more about our new initiatives and member benefits.
