This information day on Wednesday 10 September provides participants the opportunity to get acquainted with higher education in the Flemish and French communities. In order to prepare Flemish higher education institutions for the challenges of the European Higher Education Area, the Flemish government introduced the concept of University Associations. Each University Association is a framework of in-depth cooperation between a university and one or more university colleges. There are five University Associations in Flanders and each of these can be visited during the information day.

Participating in a site visit
Time of departure on Wednesday 10 September is at 08.30, site visit 10.00-16.30, return to Antwerp by 18.00.
The fee is EUR 20. This fee includes lunch and transport.
Pre-registration is required at www.eaie.org/antwerp/registration. Registration opens 5 May 2008 and closes 20 August 2008.
Visits will not be cancelled even if attendance is low. However, the schedule may be changed if the group is small. Participants will receive the final schedule for their visit by e-mail after 20 August.
