If you need to cancel your participation in an EAIE training course, this is possible before the individual cancellation deadlines (see below) but you will be charged EUR 50 for administration costs.
If you have already paid the course fee to the EAIE Secretariat, and you cancel before the cancellation deadline, you will receive a full refund of the course fee minus the EUR 50 administration costs. If, on the other hand, you still have to pay, you will be invoiced the EUR 50 administration costs.
If you cancel after the cancellation deadline, you will be invoiced for the full course fee.
Please note that no exception is made in case your visa application was declined. Please note that the EAIE does not give any further support in the visa application process of possible training course participants other than an invitation letter. To obtain a visa remains the sole responsibility of the participant and he/she has to cover all costs resulting from the application process.
Cancellation by the EAIE
If a course receives less than 10 registrations, the EAIE will be forced to cancel the course. The EAIE will do this no later than six weeks before the start of the course. The EAIE is not liable for costs already made by participants (eg flight tickets).
Sometimes the EAIE is forced to cancel a course owing to circumstances beyond its control. In this event, all registered participants will receive a full refund of any course fees paid, but the EAIE is not liable for costs already made by participants (eg flight tickets)
