The aim of EMPLOI
EMPLOI is the professional section dealing with employability skills, international internships and graduate careers, which we believe are strongly linked and make up one vital component of higher education and Life Long Learning. In the current context of increasing globalization in education and industry, our aim is to support institutions in preparing their students to succeed in the global labour market. Find out more in the About us section.

The year ahead is a busy one for EMPLOI with training courses planned for June and July: "Developing university and employer engagement strategies" and "English in the international workplace". We hope more of you will join and encourage colleagues to get involved as we aim for EMPLOI to play a key role in sharing ideas and best practice in this field.

EMPLOI activities planned for 2010 and onward include:
  • Updating relevant information and links on our website
  • Creating a Facebook page and Linked-in group to facilitate information sharing and interaction between affiliates
  • Publication of tool-kit
  • Organisation of sessions and workshops during EAIE Annual event
  • Organisation of a small number of training events during the year
  • Representation at a small number of other relevant conferences during the year
  • Providing a contact point for your questions and comments
