When you become a member of the EAIE, you are not just joining a young dynamic organisation, you are becoming part of a worldwide network of professionals in the field of higher education. You can contact, communicate with, and consult colleagues who are all working towards one common goal: to stimulate and facilitate the internationalisation of higher education in Europe.

The EAIE and its services are offered in order to help you increase your international networks as well as aid in the dispersing of information on all topics concerning international higher education. The primary way that it does this is by organising the EAIE annual conference. The EAIE organises one of Europe's largest conferences in a different city every year! As a member you are entitled to a reduction on the conference fee. This conference is the perfect place to meet and get to know all the professionals in international education, make valuable contacts and visit the popular Exhibition.

In between conferences you can keep in touch with colleagues by using the on-line membership directory or by putting your query or comment on the EAIE-L.

New as of September 2006 is MyEAIE - a personalised homepage system that allows you to subscribe to e-communities, register for events and update your personal details.

The really great thing about being a member of the EAIE is that you can be a part of a Professional Section or Special Interest Group while still having access to a variety of experts within a different specialisation. There are currently nine Professional Sections and five Special Interest Groups.
